We are a French-Luxembourgish and Italian-Portuguese couple based in Paris. We met in Montmartre through a dating app, over coffee and a burst of laughter. One of those chance encounters that changes a life. From that moment, The Wild Strawberry was born in 2021, an artistic and bespoke approach designed to tell love stories like cinema, inspired by the kind of wedding experience we would have dreamed of for our own day.
Before The Wild Strawberry, Marisa was a painter and animation artist. She worked in animated films and special effects for French and international studios, with projects selected at the Cannes Film Festival and screened at festivals around the world. Ghislain is a self-taught photographer with more than ten years of experience in the wedding world. Together, we create memories where reality blends with fiction to craft true cinematic works.
Our approach is warm and immersive. We love working closely with our couples, capturing spontaneous moments with imagination and sensitivity. That is where iconic and timeless images are born, photographs and films designed to tell love with an artistic and modern point of view.
We are epicureans and travelers, fascinated by analog vibes, vintage lenses, and artisanal craft. We celebrate the beauty of materials and the stories that people and objects carry with them. Dreamers, explorers, and lovers of strong aesthetics, we draw inspiration from everything around us to give each couple a narrative that is unique and deeply personal.

The name The Wild Strawberry comes from a soft yet vibrant shade between red and pink, evoking a fruit that is both delicate and untamable, just like the contrast sought in the images created. The brand is deeply tied to seasonality: strawberries return with late spring and early summer weddings, under the June Strawberry Moon, long seen as a symbol of celebration, abundance, love and promise.
Born on June 21, 2021, the night of the summer solstice and France’s Fête de la Musique, the brand is rooted in the magnetic energy of a city alive with sound, warmth and encounters. Like the strawberry a hybrid between wild and cultivated, the work blends instinct and intention, the natural and the crafted, to create images that linger in emotional memory as vividly as a familiar summer perfume.

From Paris, we create high-end wedding films with a cinematic aesthetic, crafted for modern and discerning couples. Our work is recognized for its sensitivity, visual storytelling and auteur-inspired style.
Some of our photographs have been exhibited in the Marais in Paris, alongside renowned contemporary photographers, confirming our place at the intersection of wedding filmmaking and contemporary visual creation.
